Zoe B. Zak, Rabbi

(518) 943 - 5758

Shabbat services are held twice a month at Temple Israel of Catskill.

During December, January, February, and March, services are conducted on the 2nd Saturday of the month at 10 AM. Our synagogue welcomes everyone to join us in prayer as Rabbi Zoe B Zak leads us spiritually and in song. A potluck Oneg follows services. If your are joining us on the first time please be our guest. If you prefer to bring a dish to our pot luck we do a "continental breakfast style" Oneg. Bring foods such as danish, coffee cake, Kugel, or a fruit salad to share.

For the balance of the year, Shabbat services are held on the 2nd Friday evening of the month at 7 PM, followed by an Oneg. Shabbat celebration on the 4th Friday of the month is at 6 PM.  The members hosting the Oneg are honored with the lighting and blessing of the Shabbat candles. All are encouraged to schmooz at the Oneg to greet old friends, make new ones, and exchange warm wishes with the Rabbi. All services are musical and lead by Rabbi Zoe B Zak.
